From April 28th to May 2nd, I’m eating and drinking on just $1.50 per day with thousands of others across the world in a global movement to help end extreme poverty. It’s called Live Below the Line.
I’m taking the challenge raising awareness and funds to support the work of Opportunity International and I need your help to make a real impact.
Eating at $1.50/day is challenging but made easier if one eats rice, beans and a small amount of protein, however, as someone following a healing protocol for thyroid disease, I do not eat grains and legumes as filler. I will be attempting to complete this challenge with a Paleo-like diet and still buying organic ingredients. Can it be done? I’m not sure. But to show my dedication to the issue of global poverty while supporting my own health care, I’m gonna try.
Can you spare a few dollars and donate to support my efforts (click here) for Opportunity International at ?
Or would you like to join the Thyroid Loving Care team and take the challenge with me?
$1.50 is the US equivalent of the extreme poverty line. Eating and drinking on so little gives a glimpse into the challenges faced by the 1.2 billion people who have no choice but to live below the line everyday for everything — that’s food, medical care, transport, education, everything.

Thank you for your support!
